Hostels

UIET offers comfortable and well-maintained hostels for its students. The hostels provide a conducive living environment and are equipped with necessary amenities such as spacious rooms, study areas, common rooms, and 24/7 security.

Our hostels aim to create a home away from home for UIETians, fostering a sense of community and facilitating their academic journey. Hostels are available for male as well female boarders.

Workshop

Being a relatively newer institution various workshops and labs are still a work in progress! Nevertheless, at UIET we try to ensure that students gain hands-on experience and practical exposure in their respective fields of study.

The labs and workshops are being conducted at Government Polytechnic Jammu for the time being! We regret the same and are working to remedy the situation!

Domain-specifc Laboratories

Being a relatively newer institution various labs are still a work in progress! Nevertheless, at UIET we try to ensure that students gain hands-on experience and practical exposure in their respective fields of study.

The lab infrastructure for core subjects like electronics, electrical, and fluid mechanics has been commissioned and other necessary labs will be commissioned in the future as well. The labs and workshops are being conducted at Government Polytechnic Jammu and Main Campus of University for the time being!

Library

UIET's library is a treasure trove of knowledge, catering to the academic needs of students and faculty members. The library houses an extensive collection of books, journals, research papers, and digital resources related to various subjects and disciplines.

It provides a quiet and conducive environment for studying, research, and self-improvement. The Library has central HVAC systems installed for the comfort of students.

Canteen

UIET's canteen serves as a hub of social interaction and refreshment for students. The canteen offers a variety of hygienic and nutritious food options, catering to different tastes and preferences.

It provides a comfortable space for students to relax, unwind, and engage in conversations with their peers, fostering a sense of camaraderie and community.

College Bus

UIET understands the importance of convenient transportation for students. The campus provides bus facility, ensuring that students have a reliable mode of transportation to commute between their homes and the campus.

The campus bus service runs between Jammu and Kathua every day. The service is well-maintained, adheres to the schedule, and prioritizes the safety and comfort of our students at an affordable charge.

Common Rooms

UIET has two common rooms, one for girls and one for boys, where students can socialize, relax, and enjoy various indoor games.

The girls' common room is a cozy and inviting space where you can hang out with your friends, study, or have some fun. The room has a warm and cheerful atmosphere. The girls' common room is a great place to unwind, socialize, and have fun with your fellow students.

The boys' common room is a spacious and lively place where you can meet new people, relax, or play some games. The boys' common room is a fun and exciting place to spend your free time, mingle, and have a blast with your fellow students.

Both rooms have on one side a TT-table where you can challenge your mates to a friendly match. On the other side, there is a dart board, carrom board table, chess arena for some more competition and those friendly bets and flexing! action.
